Mark Hoffman (guitar) was born in Bellevue, Kentucky, the son of a harp-playing artist. He currently divides his time between his primary residence in Fort Mitchell and his family farm. Mark likes to power-paraglide in his spare time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cka9QEtI0g). Professionally, Mark works as a master plumber, which allows him to “dig deep and pull out some interesting emotions” when he plays music. Mark was formerly a load master. No one in NC knows what that means, but it sounds impressive. Mark plays an Eastman arch-top guitar – the same instrument played by Jimmy Buffet and members of the Coral Reefer Band. He is married to Susan, a flaming liberal, but madly in love with another woman: their granddaughter. Mark and Susan recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.
